MRS ITALIA manufactures screws both to customer specification or to MRS design. Our plasticating screws are used in extrusion, blow molding and injection molding alike. The combinations of base alloy, flight armoring and surface treatment are numerous and depend on the type(s) of resin to be processed, the possible additives and their percentages, and processing requirements. Physical sizes are limited to min. 12 mm - max. 600 mm O.D. and max. 6.700 mm length. The max. length of through-hardened screw sections is limited to 1.800 mm. Longer screws will need to be manufactured in sections. Every screw manufactured by MRS ITALIA is marked with a traceable serial number and delivered with a quality certificate.
